Our legal bases (for visitors in the UK and EU)
- Consent: the consent box on our forms, marketing emails, and non-essential cookies.
- Contract: setting up and delivering services you ask for.
- Legal obligation: tax and accounting records.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the site secure, blocking spam, answering business enquiries, ordering replies by priority, and improving our website. We weigh these against your rights each time.
You can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before, and we may have to keep some records by law.
Who we share your data with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the people and tools below, and only as far as the work needs.
- Hosting and email: Hostinger hosts our website and runs our email.
- Content delivery and security: content delivery networks (CDNs) that deliver our pages quickly and block spam.
- Google: our team's email copies sit in Google mailboxes. Google Analytics and Google Ads also receive visit data if you accept analytics or advertising cookies.
- Meta and other advertising platforms: they receive tracking data only if you accept advertising cookies. See "Advertising and tracking" below.
- Calendly: handles call bookings.
- Payment and accounting: our bank or payment provider, and our chartered accountant.
- Freelancers and partners: editors, developers, photographers and similar, under written confidentiality.
- AI tool providers: Anthropic (Claude). See "AI tools and automated scoring" below.
- Authorities: when the law requires it. If WeberLite is ever sold, the buyer must keep your data under this same policy.
We ask every provider to protect your data and use it only for our purposes.
Where your data goes
We are based in India, so your data is processed in India. Some providers above may process it in other countries, including the United States and the EU. We follow the transfer rules in Indian law. For visitors in the UK and EU we rely on approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where a provider needs them.
Cookies and analytics
- Essential: keep the site secure and working, and remember your cookie choice.
- Browser storage: the quote form keeps your progress in your browser, and the thank-you page uses it to show your confirmation. It stays on your device and clears when you close the tab.
- Analytics: analytics tools such as Google Analytics show us which pages are used. They run only after you accept analytics cookies.
- Advertising: tags from Google, Meta and other ad platforms measure and improve our own advertising. They run only after you accept advertising cookies. Details are in the next section.
You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" in the website footer, or in your browser settings. Blocking non-essential cookies does not stop you using the site.
Advertising and tracking (Meta, Google and others)
We advertise our own services and measure which ads and pages lead to enquiries. To do that we use tags, pixels and similar tools from advertising platforms: Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and other platforms we may use from time to time, such as LinkedIn, TikTok, X or Microsoft Advertising.
What they collect. Cookie and device identifiers, your IP address, browser and device details, the pages you view, actions on our site (such as opening or sending the quote form, or reaching the thank-you page), the ad or campaign you came from, and your approximate location. Events can include limited details from the quote form, such as the country and budget range you chose, but never your name, email or phone number. We may also send these events from our own servers instead of your browser.
Why. To count the enquiries our ads bring in, to show our ads to people who have visited our site (remarketing), to reach similar audiences, and to report results.
Your choice. These tags load only after you accept advertising cookies in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer, and you can block cookies in your browser. Turning them off stops new data being collected. Data already sent stays with the platform under its own policy.
What the platforms do with it. Google, Meta and the other platforms use this data under their own privacy policies. You can manage ad personalisation with them directly: Google at adssettings.google.com and Meta at facebook.com/adpreferences. We keep analytics data for up to 14 months.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not send your name, email or phone number to advertising platforms. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
AI tools and automated scoring
Our quote form gives each request an internal priority score (A, B or C) based on your budget range, timeline and number of services, so urgent requests are answered first. The score never rejects a request, and no automated decision has a legal or similarly significant effect on you. A person reads every request.
We use AI tools to help with drafting, design, code and video production. These include Claude from Anthropic, which we use through its business API. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, our inputs are not used to train its models. We do not put your confidential files or personal data into AI tools unless the work needs it, and then only into business services with similar terms.
When we work on your behalf
- Your customers' data: when we run ads, SEO, a CRM, a store or a website for you, we may handle personal data about your customers, such as leads, orders or audiences. You decide why and how that data is used. We act on your written instructions as your processor, under our service agreement. This policy does not replace your own privacy notice to your customers, and we can help you write one.
- Access to your accounts: we ask for the least access the work needs, through official sharing features (Meta Business, Google Ads, hosting teams) instead of passwords where possible. Any credentials we must hold go in an encrypted password manager, and we remove access within 30 days of the project ending.
- Video shoots: everyone who appears signs a release. Anyone can ask not to be filmed. People under 18 appear only with a parent's or guardian's written consent. We use footage only as agreed.
- Portfolio and testimonials: we feature your name, photo, company or words only with your permission. If you ask us to remove them, we take them off our site and our own social posts. We cannot recall copies others have already shared.
Your rights and how to use them
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct or update it, delete it, stop or limit how we use it, send you a portable copy, or stop using it for purposes based on legitimate interests. You can also withdraw consent at any time.
Email info@weberlite.com. We will confirm who you are, reply within 30 days, and tell you plainly if the law stops us from doing something.
- India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023): you can ask for a summary of your data and who it is shared with, correction, completion, updating and erasure. You can use our grievance process and name someone to act for you if you die or cannot act yourself. If our reply does not settle the matter, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
- UK and EU (UK GDPR and GDPR): the rights above, plus the right to complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Security and data breaches
This site uses HTTPS. Only the people who need your data for the work can open it, key accounts use two-step sign-in, and client credentials sit in an encrypted password manager. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell the Data Protection Board of India and the people affected, as the law requires.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not aimed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think we have, write to us and we will delete it. Video shoots follow the rules above.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to and embed other services, such as Calendly and our social profiles. They have their own privacy policies, and this one does not cover them.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Courts in Banaskantha, Gujarat (Palanpur) have jurisdiction over any dispute about it, without taking away rights you have under the law where you live.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices or the law change, and change the date below. For material changes we will also tell you by banner or email. Earlier versions are available on request.
